About Pastor Darrell
Growing up in a Christian environment, he received Christ at an early age. In June of 1964 a dedicated teacher in VBS (Vacation Bible School) carefully walked him through the Bible plan of salvation (“Romans Road”) and Darrell trusted Christ as his personal Savior. He was baptized by immersion a few weeks later.
After graduating high school and believing in his heart that God had called him to preach, Darrell attended a small Bible college in his home state of Indiana where, four years later, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Theology. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1976.
Darrell has pastored in Texas, Michigan, California and Indiana as either an assistant pastor or student ministries leader. He was also director of a Christian camping ministry in Middle Tennessee for nine years.
He currently resides in Muncie, Indiana with his wife Kathy, They were married on February 14, 2004. Between them they have five grown children, seven grands and one great-grand.
